Meet the Doctor
Dr. Daniel Burgin
Dr. Daniel Burgin is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee although he moved frequently during his childhood, living all across the state of Tennessee as well as Georgia, Florida and overseas in Waterloo, Belgium. His family settled in Brentwood, Tennessee where he attended high school at Brentwood Academy.
His professional education began at Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, AL where he was selected as the William J. Rushton Scholar, the preeminent academic scholarship awarded by the college. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Physics. While at Birmingham-Southern, Dr. Burgin was the president of the Honor Council, a member of the Southern Ambassadors, a member of the Greek community, a graduate of the Harrison Honors Program, and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honors society.
Dr. Burgin pursued his dental education at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry. While at UAB, Dr. Burgin was an active member of the American Student Dental Association, served on a dental mission trip to Xela, Guatemala and participated in an exchange program in Tokyo, Japan.
After graduating, Dr. Burgin completed a general practice hospital dental residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. While there he helped patients with dental emergencies and trauma, treated special needs patients receiving care under general anesthesia, and assisted the community by working with the Knoxville Regional Forensic Center to perform dental forensic identifications.
To further improve his ability to care for patients, Dr. Burgin continued his dental education by completing a three-year advanced residency in prosthodontics back at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. He was selected as the chief resident of the program and also served as a teaching faculty in the dental student clinic.
Dr. Burgin is happy to be back in Big Orange Country where he is excited to serve the Knoxville community. When not treating patients, Dr. Burgin enjoys traveling, spending time with his friends and family, and enjoying time on the lake. He is also an avid amateur baker and loves to share his creations with others.

Bianca
Dental Hygienist
Bianca is originally from the Sunshine state of Florida but has called East Tennessee home since 2012. She graduated from Roane State’s dental hygiene program in 2018 where she served as class president. After practicing clinically for one year, she decided that she wanted to further her education and earned her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from East Tennessee State University where she graduated with honors.
Bianca lives in South Knoxville with her husband and two Boston Terriers that she calls her babies. In her free time, Bianca enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and spending quality time with her family.
Leslie
Dental Assistant
Leslie is a native of Knoxville and graduated as a registered dental assistant in 2008. Leslie’s 13 years of clinical and hospital experience make her a great asset to the office team. Her passion for dentistry is evident every day in how she cares for patients.
In her free time, Leslie enjoys working in her garden and spending time with her husband and twin daughters.
Tiffany
Dental Assistant
Tiffany graduated from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology as a registered dental assistant in 2019. Tiffany has a passion for helping patients transform their smiles to help them be as confident as possible.
Tiffany spends most her time out of the office creating art. When not painting, Tiffany can be found spending time with family, particularly her baby niece.
Tammy
Front Office Staff
Tammy is originally from Illinois but has felt more at home over the last 18 months since moving to Knoxville. She has been in the medical field for over 25 years, starting her career as a massage therapist in a physical therapy setting. Her heart was in caring for the well-being of her patients and helping her patients have the best quality of life possible. Tammy eventually transitioned into an office manager role where she began working to organize and coordinate office operations to achieve optimal productivity and effectiveness.
In 2022, Tammy transitioned into dentistry where she found her love for AR providing exceptional day to day operational and technical leadership.
Tammy loves spending her free time with her husband, running, hiking, being at the lake, and traveling. She is also constantly trying to perfect gluten-free baking and cherishes time with her adult children who live across the country.
